You will shift (seemingly) intractable situations.
When you untangle the root of what distracts and derails you, you will heal previously intractable relationships—and find resolutions to seemingly insurmountable situations—without having to scramble, scrounge, or twist yourself into knots, to fix, solve or resolve them.
In fact, they will most often heal and resolve in ways that you’d never thought possible—and for which you’d never dare ask.
And when they do, you will free up so much energy—to finally do the work you really want to do.
Because you will no longer get ensnared in a dynamic that drains and depletes you—with no end and no exit.
And you will no longer let it shape how you understand yourself and your work—or misdiagnose what your body of work needs in order to thrive.
So often what will present as a business problem (that you think needs a strategic or tactical solution) is an entrenched relationship dynamic—personal, charged and close to home, that you’d rather not have to confront.
And clearing up that personal tangle—particularly when it’s entrenched—is what will create concrete, long-desired results (that your strategies could not).
Like Katie.
My client, Katie, had a long-standing, trauma-induced dynamic of taking care of her mom and sister, who was challenged by mental illness. Katie would jump in to solve their problems—or to save them from their own actions—and her sister would treat her unfairly, cruelly even.
Katie had felt alone in this—and trapped by it—for as long as she could remember. And she didn’t see a way out of it that didn’t include either cutting her mom and sister off or allowing them to be homeless (or both).
She handed over feeling responsible for her mom and sister getting their needs met to the Sacred—and she stopped trying to change her mom and sister’s behavior to meet either her needs or their own.
She got clear on what she would and would not do—and that she did not have to do anything (including give her mother and sister money). She said No, and she offered what she could offer honestly—and integrity with herself.
And the drama—the dysfunction that had been there her entire life—dropped away.
She engages in the relationship clearly and cleanly—and trusts that she doesn’t have to tie herself in knots to find a solution to a challenge with them. (It will make itself known to her.)
Katie exceeded a long-standing revenue ceiling with ease—and had the best year in her business ever (while still only working part-time).
And we did not focus on growing her revenue.
This is why we work holistically—and at the root of it.
There is only one thing at the root of it for you.
What it is—and how you need to untangle it—is specific to you.
There is a space for you to untangle it swiftly and gently—in exactly the way you need to untangle it.
This is an excerpt from my book, This Again? Untangle the Root of What Distracts & Derails You from Your Life’s Work.

I didn’t know it was possible!
I would not have dared to hope for the things that have changed in my life because of this work.
I don’t know what has happened. But my whole fucking life has changed.
Saying ‘yes’ was one of the most consequential decisions of my life.
When I open my mouth now, the truth just pours out.
Clarity, that cannot be ignored, continues to move me forward. And that has shifted everything. (I would have bet everything I had that it would have destroyed everything instead).
Relationships that felt toxic, insurmountable and inescapable suddenly shifted. Situations that had no clear possible solution, suddenly gave way to new, wildly unexpected outcomes. My income increased significantly (without our focus and seemingly effortlessly).
When we started working together, I was so terrified of the unknown. But the truth is not scary. It’s liberating. And the only thing that got burnt down to the ground (despite my fear) were the barriers to it.
Now it’s terrifying to think that I might have never known what was possible if I hadn’t worked with Rebecca.
Her questions unravel years of illusion in a moment.
Nothing short of magic has happened, and I cannot explain it.
The space she holds is clean and clear (no ego, frustration, projection or prescription), and the pace is exactly right for creating safety and dramatic results, at the same time.
None of the other work I’ve done has touched this.
If she is still taking clients, do anything you can to work with her.
