You want to sink into ease and trust and flow—and part of you wants a formula. 

Something that is going to take the fear and wavering and uncertainty out of it. 

Something you can learn, even if it’s about yourself, and implement. 

And if you implement it effectively, you’ll get the result you want—without the pain (and the journey) of fear and grief, release and transformation. 

(You wish someone would just tell you what to do already.)

But you’ve tried all those things. (You’ve tried all the things.)

And they have not created the ease and trust and flow you seek (or were led to expect).

They have not created the shift you really want in your work.

And they have not resolved—or relieved you of—what distracts and derails you from making that shift actually happen.

You have not failed. (You are right where you need to be.)  

All the formulas and strategies and practices are failing you, because there is no formula for where you find yourself.

And there is no formula for where you’re going.

You are birthing the work that wants to come through you from whole cloth.

There is no formula for that. (There is no formula for what has not yet existed.)

And there’s no formula for ease or trust or flow in that.

(Despite what all the manifesting and wealth consciousness evangelists might tell you.) 

You have to meet yourself there. 

Because trust, ease and flow are dynamics of your relationship with the Sacred.

(And there’s nothing formulaic about that. That is yours and yours alone.)  

They arise from you telling yourself the truth—amidst fear, shame, uncertainty, and grief—and acting on that truth.

That is your initiation.

That is the untangling of what distracts and derails you.

So that the work that wants to come through you can be born. 

(And, yes, that requires more of you.)

If it feels hard to hold yourself in this initiation and this untangling, know that: You are not meant to.

And you don’t have to do it alone. You can be midwifed through it.
