It’s been a week.

We are experiencing (if we weren’t already) an acceleration and intensification of disinformation, misinformation, censorship (despite claims of bringing back “free speech”), confusion, chaos, lying, obfuscation, coercion, and gaslighting.

And we are witnessing (seemingly) abrupt and chaotic disruption and dismantling of our socio-political and economic systems. 

I am writing from the United States, as a citizen of the United States, where we’re witnessing a caricature of the extremes and the absurdities—which would be almost laughable if they did not jeopardize the rights, health and safety of real people. 

But it is not limited to the United States. It is both present in and reverberating through the world.

We are witnessing just how constructed, how violable, and how ripe for exploitation our socio-economic systems—and the narratives, identities and ideologies that hold them up—are.

And we are witnessing how vulnerable they are to collapse.

When our socially-constructed guides are being hijacked, exploited and destroyed:

Root into the truth at the ground of your being. 

Cultivate safety and security through your relationship with the Sacred. 

Metabolise your fear—and your rage. 

You might feel a little wobbly getting there right now, but that is what you have to guide you. 

The truth is where your will meets Sacred will. 

It is where the Sacred runs through you—with clarity and certainty.

The truth has its own power and momentum—and the capacity to cut through fear, rage, chaos and confusion. 

Speak truth to power. 

Speak truth as power—into the tumultuous. 

Clarify. 

Simplify. 

Root.

(Before you act.) 

Truth is the tap root. 

Truth is the fertile ground.

of new life. 

of effective action. 

of collective change. 

And it will move you to act—in right timing and in full integrity. 

Yes, this is the work that I do with clients: root into the truth at the ground of their being—as the source of their work and their leadership. Because they, and you, are birthing a new way amidst this destruction.
