How My Clients Get Concrete, Practical Results from the Practice of Mantra
You know me. I do not live in the world of vague energetics or ungrounded spiritual practice.
I use an ancient, long-standing tradition of spiritual practice for both personal transformation and practical guidance—with a high level of precision and effectiveness—through the chanting of Sanskrit mantra.
How does this sacred practice, which is new to most of my clients (and likely new to you), create such practical, tangible results?
(Because that it would is likely not obvious.)
This is what I’ve witnessed:
1. A Ripeness of the Work & An Openness to Change
The work that wants to come through you is ripe. It’s a fruit nearly ready to drop from the tree.
Your body of work is mature. You’ve been gestating its next iteration through the integration of its deeper and disparate parts, consciously and unconsciously, in the background for some time. And it’s time to lead with it—to bring it forward and make it fully visible in the world.
But you cannot keep doing it the way you’ve been doing it. You are longing for a different way, and the work itself is asking—demanding—a different way.
You don’t quite know what exactly this different way is yet—or how to go about it. But you can sense it. You know it’s essential to where your work is going.
And, even if you’re otherwise afraid, confounded, doubtful, you are open to, curious—and even excited—about, the change it’s asking of you—and what that will bring about.
You just need a bridge—from here to there.
2. The Potency & Precision of the Practice
The practice of Sanskrit mantra works directly with the root of what’s distracting and derailing you—as a karmic knot. And it does it through that karmic knot’s own language of sound vibration and prāṇa (life force).
This is technical, personal—and physiological as well as energetic.
There is no abstraction—and no translation or mediation. It’s direct, and it’s targeted to exactly what you need.
The sound of the letters of the Sanskrit alphabet vibrate at the frequencies of the cakras in your energy body when the flow of prāṇa through them is clear, harmonious, and uninhibited.
Your karmic knot is an interference that closes off, narrows or distorts that clear, unobstructed flow—like air through a flute.
When we work together, I listen for the mantra that will restore the clear flow of your prāṇa where your karma has created that interference—at the pace and in the form that will best allow you to integrate and sustain it.
When you chant, the sound of your mantra has an immediate and direct effect on you.
Because it is phonetic, prosodic—and vibrational: your mantra bypasses the language processing and meaning-making part of your brain.
And because you receive and understand sound with your entire body, it communicates directly with your amygdala, your autonomic nervous system, your tissue, bones, organs, and hormones—at a cellular level.
(You don’t need to understand it, analyze it, or make meaning out of it for it to work.)
The sustained rhythm of breath and sound while you’re chanting entrains your brain, your breath and your heart rate.
And it interrupts the default pattern of your brain’s connectivity—(in part) by putting your posterior cingulate cortex into a different wave-state from the rest of your brain.
This creates the physiological conditions that interrupt habitual or addictive patterns, decrease your identification with your individual self—and literally enable you to make another choice—outside of the pattern of your karma.
3. The Safety, Resonance & Depth of the Container
The container of our practice is clean and clear. It is also resonant, deep—and highly transformative.
First, I’ve been pretty well emptied out. (That is what more than 20 years of this practice will do.) And I have the tools to detach and discern what is yours and what is mine—and not entangle the two, mistakenly or otherwise.
Second, the resonance—and the energetic power—of the practice of mantra grows through practice. They are also transmitted through a lineage of practice. So, you receive the benefit of my years of practice—and of the generations of practice within my lineage—when we work together.
You do not have to be my teachers’ student—and you do not have to take up my lineage of practice—to benefit from this. You actually don’t even need to believe that energy running through a lineage of practice is an actual thing.
But it transforms the space—and clients reflect that they feel the power of that.
They experience profound transformation in a relatively short time—with no prior experience with the practice of mantra—because it lets them drop in.
It lets them let go.
And it holds them—as they discover, and learn to trust, how their own lineages of spiritual and professional practice are intertwined and expressed through them.
4. The Simplicity & Precision of the Intention
How you use intention—and your intention itself—is different than how you likely typically work with intention.
Because you untangle a karmic knot moment by moment—using what is present in the moment.
In a way that is simple, cuts to the root of it—and simultaneously moves you, your body of work and your business forward.
Each intention creates a thread of progression, along the trajectory of our work together—guided by what is present for you.
So that you untangle the root of what distracts & derails you in exactly the way you need to untangle it.
And you weave together the threads of the work that wants to come through you—in the way that you (and it) are uniquely, perfectly and naturally constituted for.
(This is really important—and why so many of your practices and approaches are likely not reaching it. The present moment is outside of your karma—and therefore, where you untangle it and where you act without its patterning.)
5. The Clarity & Precision of the Reflection
You most often cannot see yourself clearly when you are tangled up in a karmic knot.
And, when you can see yourself and your work clearly, you are likely to doubt it.
Because most others cannot yet see what you can see—and therefore, cannot accurately reflect it back to you.
(I hear this limitation and absence of reflection—and this internalization of guilt—from my clients all the time.)
To untangle your karmic knot, to bring forth this new iteration of your work, it is both a necessity and a relief to be seen and heard clearly.
And to have it reflected back to you—accurately and without agenda.
Clients tell me that I say the exact word they need to hear to shift what they’re wanting to shift. That I name the unnamable, articulate what has only been felt and sensed, contextualize what has been isolated—and ask the question that opens everything up.
And that I do it without judgment or agenda.
You tell me that you feel like I see you and I hear you—even though you know I can’t literally see and hear you.
Verbal precision and seeing the connective thread are part of my innate brilliance—but I have cultivated this perception, discernment and depth of listening.
When we work together, we access the universal field of potentiality (which, known as the Ākāśa in Śaiva tantra and the zero point field in quantum physics, holds an energetic memory of everything that has ever been and the potential of everything that could ever be).
And I focus my awareness to receive information specifically relevant to you at that moment.
(This is also what creates a clean container and effective present-moment intentions.)
We also attune to the unique energy frequency of your mantra—and access the wisdom of its archetypal pattern and sacred mythology.
I read the energetic nuance of the chant: in its sound, its rhythm and its pacing. And I perceive its archetypical and mythic symbolism.
I know these intimately and that intimacy is the background against which I can listen to what’s happening within your energy vibration—and allow it to guide us.
There is a skill and a through-line to this. (Your spiritual practice and your strategic decision making are not separate from each other. They are two ends of the same thread.) Over the arc of this year, you are invited to discover this through-line and cultivate this skill for yourself.
There is also a technicality and a transmission to this. Over the arc of this year, you are invited to experience this technical precision and transmissional power for yourself. (This is a practice, and I am a mentor, of applied, experiential spirituality.)
And finally, there is an intimacy and an internalization of this. Over the arc of this year, you are invited to cultivate this intimacy with your own spiritual practice—whether through mantra or otherwise—and internalize a deeply-rooted trust in your own wisdom.
There is a space for you in a private 6-month mentorship. Email me for more information. I’d love to connect with you about working together.

I would not have dared to hope for the things that have changed in my life because of this work.
Nothing short of magic has happened, and I cannot explain it. None of the other work I’ve done has touched this.
If she is still taking clients, do anything you can to work with her.
