If you’re feeling like you’ve been deconstructed and put back together will all your pieces rearranged, you’re not alone.

There has been an intensity of deconstruction and rearrangement this past month.

And, it can feel like destruction is swift, rearrangement is awkward, and integration is slow.

A client from my mastermind last year shared with me the other day that: “The integration and embodiment of my new brand is a process for sure. Kind of like you put on a new coat but there are still old threads underneath . . . Not sure why I always have to take soooo long to incorporate the new.”

Integration does not come to us all at once. We cannot embody that much change at once. We have multiple layers of being—energy bodies—and they integrate at different rates. Think of the difference between the movement of particals in a gas and the movement of particals in a solid. We too have subtle, quick levels of our being and heavier, slower levels of our being. Integration requires a shift and recalibration in all of them. We often have more connection, facility and ease with some of them than with others. And, our minds are often in dissonance over all of this—holding the old and experiencing the new, witnessing change in some parts of ourselves and not others, confounded a bit.

I know that’s true for me. Integration comes in layers. I have a moment of experiencing it fully—aaaahhh, yes—and then another layer reveals itself, and I’m broken open again; asked to expand, to reconsider or to question; asked to not leave this piece of myself, my past, my being behind; to step up and step into further; to dig deeper; to give more—and the process begins again.

And, so here we are, dancing with it, practicing, being willing to live into it.

If you’re wanting a fiercely-held space to drop into the full integration and embodiment of this next expression of your life’s work, I’d love to work with you.

I feel the most comfortable with myself—the most in the essence of myself—that I ever have.
