It’s so good to be back with you—here and on the podcast—after a pause that was intended to be a few weeks, but that unintentionally, and yet, with the intuitive wisdom of Life, became a few months.

I shared with you in a voice note in May that I was transitioning to the business model that I’d always wanted—and I’d been afraid to create: a model that is evergreen, intimate, and verbally delivered.

I retired workshops and group-program-like offerings in favor of two personalized and private, in-depth offerings: a 1-month Intensive and a 12-18 month arc of sacred initiation and strategic advising. 

And I decided to share the frameworks, synthesis and self-inquiry that would otherwise be in workshops here on my podcast, where you will be able to listen, absorb & experience them on—and in—your own time.  

Because this is more structurally coherent with the nature, arc and duration of the work; with the way most of my clients want to work together; and with the way I want to work with you.

This simplified model was clear and it landed—and then Life, occurrence by occurrence, priority by priority, took me on an unplanned respite from putting it in place.  

This diversion was not a diversion. It was a layering of structural integrity—through multiple, foundational aspects of my life, particularly the spaces in which I live and work and the assets I share with my husband and my family. 

The events and activities of the past few months have had both the quality of coming by surprise and of being exactly the right focus for my time, energy and attention. I watched Life show up and I knew, in each instance, that I would return to the practical tasks of my simplified business model when it was the right time.

I’ve found this to be true in working with clients: clarity about how to create greater structural coherence in their business initiates parallel shifts in multiple, fundamental aspects of their life before their business can come into full coherence. 

I’ve witnessed an analogous phenomenon when I listen for mantras for clients: The karmic pattern in operation—and ready to be untangled—is typically three layers deeper and three steps prior to what clients name. 

I received a note recently from a colleague who was witnessing exactly this same thing about her experience: She said that tasks seemed to be going undone as she attended to this kind of root-source work, and yet, somehow her work was traveling with her and emerging from that root-source work.

This is why I came to work with clients at the root. It is where all of our patterns and experiences converge, and it is where we are no longer split by culture and conformity. Your body of work—if it is going to be fully realized into its mature, integrated form—needs to come from there. 

And for all the cultural talk of flow, the route is inevitably choppy and circuitous. There is no pre-existing model that can avoid that—and very few guides for navigating it. 

That is what we do: we navigate it. That is what Sacred & Strategic Advising is. 

It is midwifing your mature, integrated body of work from the inside out, beginning at the root. 

It is carrying you through an initiatory threshold of professional death and rebirth that develops your capacity to steward your work’s full realization with sovereignty and steadiness.

And it is reorganizing your business around the gravity of this new center.

There is a mysticism and a magic to it. 

But there also is a mechanism—and a consistent, traceable arc of impact from your spiritual practice through to your business—that, if we haven’t worked together, is likely fundamentally different from how you’ve worked before.

For 25 years, I’ve lived and worked at the intersection of the Sacred & the Strategic.

This synthesis has always been my orientation and my siren-song. And its absence—the false split between the sacred & the strategic at the root of our socio-economic system—is the driving force of my work. 

This work alchemizes. It is a synthesis of spiritual practice, sacred mythology, intellectual property strategy, business model design, and more than 20 years of experience. 

I am grateful for this simplified business model that will allow it (and me) to truly do its job—in its own language and in its own terms.
